Support
Answers to what actually goes wrong, then how to reach us.
Email support@tivsy.app and you will get a reply from a person. Include what you were doing, what happened, and — if a stream is involved — what the Diagnostics screen shows. That one detail usually turns a week of guessing into an answer the same day.
Getting started
Adding your source
Open Tivsy and choose the kind of source you have. Most people have one of two things: a long M3U link from a provider, or a server address, username and password for a panel. Either works. Paste the link exactly as your provider gave it, including everything after the question mark.
If your M3U link is a panel export — it usually contains get.php — Tivsy will quietly use the panel's own interface instead of the flat file. That is worth having: the flat file has no posters, no plots and no season structure, and the panel does.
Nothing imported, or only channels imported
Providers differ enormously in what they carry. Some serve live channels only; some have films and series but publish no programme guide. Tivsy hides what your provider does not have rather than showing you empty screens — so a missing Films tab means the provider returned none, not that the app failed.
If you believe there should be more, pull down to refresh on the Watch screen, then check Settings → Diagnostics, which reports what each request actually returned.
Playback
A channel will not start, or stops after a few seconds
Try it a second time first. On subscriptions limited to one connection — which is most of them — a stream that was open a moment ago can still be holding your only slot, and the second attempt succeeds once it has closed.
If it never starts, it is usually one of three things: the subscription has expired, the connection limit is in use elsewhere (another device, another app), or that particular stream is down at the provider. Diagnostics distinguishes them.
It plays in another app but not in Tivsy
Tivsy carries two playback engines and moves between them without asking, so this is rare. When it happens it is worth an email with the channel name and what Diagnostics reports — that is exactly the information needed to add support for a format, and it has been done before.
Sound but no picture, or the wrong shape
Tap the screen while playing and use the aspect control. The choice is remembered for that channel alone, so a provider that sends one channel stretched does not force you to fix it every time.
Guide, favourites and history
The guide is empty, or covers only some channels
The guide comes from your provider, not from Tivsy. Many publish listings for a fraction of their line-up — on one real subscription it was 78 channels out of 284, and every one of the 78 matched. Tivsy shows the coverage in Diagnostics so you can see whether the ceiling is your provider's or a matching problem worth reporting.
Something is missing after I switched lists
If you have added more than one subscription, Tivsy shows one at a time on purpose rather than merging them. Favourites and continue-watching follow the list they belong to, so an item from the other list is not offered while it cannot be played. Switch lists from the button at the top of the home screen.
Clearing what the app remembers
Settings → History clears watch history or recent searches. Watch history is cleared for the list you are currently viewing, and favourites are left alone — a favourite is a choice you made, where history is a record of what happened.
Purchases
Restoring Premium on a new device
Settings → Premium → Restore purchases, signed in with the same Apple Account. A Lifetime purchase also covers Apple TV when that version ships, through Universal Purchase — you will not be asked to buy it twice.
Subscriptions are managed by Apple, not by us: cancel or change plan in iOS Settings under your Apple Account. Refunds are Apple's to grant, through reportaproblem.apple.com.
Reaching a human
support@tivsy.app — usually answered within a day. For anything about data or privacy, privacy@tivsy.app.
One thing we cannot help with: where to get channels. Tivsy includes no content and provides no sources, and we do not recommend, resell or endorse any provider.
